Fresh Pot - 3/2

My Monday morning is usually the same: drag myself out of bed, shower, drive to the office, cross my fingers that someone brought bagels, and otherwise bury myself deep within the confines of my headphones until the first meeting of the day. At some point during this process, I somehow become super, super alert, if not straight-up good at what I do for a living. I think it has something to do with those headphones.

I feel like a lot of people are in this same professional boat, so we're starting a new Monday series here at Earhole: I'll be curating a playlist for all you great readers that will hopefully help make your Monday mornings as productive as they can be--or at least, slightly less dreary. I'll be listening to this mix too, so I sure hope it works. Without further ado, we present:

Fresh Pot.

Today's playlist is a blend of off-kilter, sort-of-but-not-really dance-y indie stuff. Some of it is more dance-y than others, but all of it's dope. Point is, I'm a serious writer and I'm not going to use the word "indietronica." My personal favorites are the songs by Blood Orange, Black Moth Super Rainbow, and Baths, so keep your ears open for those.

Also, confession time: I don't actually drink coffee (#TeamTea 100%) but this name is great so shut up. Here's the playlist.
